MIDAS DP48 - PERSONAL MONITOR MIXER
The Midas DP48 is a personal monitor mixer for use with your mixing console. The DP48 makes it possible to mix your headphones or in-ear monitors for a fantastic representation of the sound on-stage. The Dual mix feature makes it possible to control two complete monitor mixes independently of each other. With this you can provide two musicians with their own unique mix from the same DP48. You can use the DP48 on the Midas M-series and Behringer X-series.
The DP48 has 48 channels of input and 12 stereo groups, so you can quickly create a balanced personal mix. For creating groups, the DP48 automatically extracts the channel names from the AES50 data stream which channels it should be. Of course these can also be overwritten via an import of a text file. Groups can also be divided into colors. You can also add / remove channels to your group manually.
With a built-in stereo ambience microphone you not only get your mix but also a part of the sound around you in your mix. The Midas DP48 is equipped with studio quality reverbs to add ambiance to your in-ear mixes. The reverb can be controlled independently from your main console. Via the SD card slot at the back of the mixer you can also make stereo recordings to display rehearsal playbacks.
The DP48 can be connected to your console via an AES50 connection and can get power over the Ethernet connection to the console.
